Everything happens for a reason. If something is wrong in our life and our brain doesn't get the memo, it's our feelings job to try to alert us to the problem. If our feelings don't get the memo, the court of last resort, as human beings, is our bodies.
We will experience transitory or chronic physical symptoms as a way the body uses to tell our feelings and our brain wake up and smell the coffee.
There's something wrong here. Just as with addictive and compulsive behaviors, allying ourselves with the symptoms works a thousand times better than disowning them.
